Amy Cohen
Co-Founder, Fixx Development Corp
Amy Cohen is the majority shareholder of FIXX Development Corp, bringing with her a wealth of diverse business experience.
She was a partner in Omicron Granite and Stone, which was successfully acquired by Caesar Stone, and in Expediter, a company specializing in truck and trailer parts, which was acquired in 2022.
Additionally, Amy is a seasoned Interior Designer with 28 years of professional experience.
Amy is also a dedicated philanthropist, seamlessly blending her professional expertise with a commitment to community service. She currently volunteers at Jewish Family Services leading a class for seniors in current event discussions, and previously volunteered at Hospice by the Sea.
Amy is particularly passionate about initiatives focused on improving the lives of veterans.
Jeff Pink
Co-Founder and CEO, FIXX Development Corp
Jeff Pink is the original visionary of the NLV mixed-use project initially entitled PATRIOT APARTMENTS.
He has developed and built more than 2,000 apartment units and single-family homes. Jeff also worked closely with the City of Los Angeles to build and refurbish homes through Federal NSP Funding received by the city.
Other than the real estate development industry, Jeff founded the world’s first all-environmental-vehicle-rental company, featured in the Wall Street Journal.
Jeff also served on the Boards of Junior Achievement and Natural Gas Association.
Dr. Paul Cassedy, M.D.
Physician
Dr. Cassedy is board-certified in addiction medicine and has been practicing in this field for more than thirty years.
He has extensive experience in operational management and staffing treatment centers. He is familiar with the complexities of insurance reimbursement, preauthorization, and cost assessment of running drug facilities.
He has been a medical director of several inpatient facilities in California, including a 500-bed facility in Newport Beach, California, where he was responsible for hiring psychiatrists, addiction physician assistants, and physicians. He has also been a medical director of a 40-bed facility in Corona Del Mar, California.
He is currently a contractor for the San Diego County Prison Sheriff’s Department performing patient assessments and detoxification.
He has extensive experience in drug and alcohol rehabilitation with comorbidities including depression, anxiety, and PTSD, in addition to cutting-edge psychiatric modalities.
He is uniquely qualified to navigate a comprehensive care model for patients by combining state-of-the-art technology, including peak logic and TMS therapy, providing a longitudinal nonprescription-based recovery modality.
Stan Baratta
President & CEO, The Veterans Bridge Group
Stan Baratta is a distinguished senior development executive renowned for his exceptional fundraising acumen. With over 35 years of experience, Stan has raised more than $250 million for various non-profit causes, specializing in securing substantial donations, including numerous seven-figure blended estate gifts.
For the past two decades, Stan has dedicated his efforts to supporting veterans, the homeless, at-risk youth, and low-income families. Notable among his achievements is his instrumental role in establishing the Battleship USS Iowa Museum in San Pedro, a living memorial commemorating its history in World War II and beyond. Stan facilitated the towing of the ship from a graveyard north of San Francisco, securing necessary rights from the US Navy, leaving a legacy recorded in naval records.
Similarly, Stan's influence extended internationally with his involvement in developing the Guilin Flying Tigers Museum and Heritage Park in China, honoring the American Volunteer Group's contributions during World War II. His expertise in fundraising and artifact procurement enriched the museum's collection and showcased the valor of the AVG.
Stan's impactful career also includes executive roles at renowned organizations, such as his work as the Executive Vice President of Development and Communications of the Weingart Center and Habitat for Humanity. At the Weingart Center, he oversaw comprehensive services for over 3,000 clients, 25 percent of which were veterans. As National Executive Director at the Pacific Aviation Museum, Stan collaborated closely with veterans, mobilizing support from volunteers and donors.
At Habitat for Humanity, Stan was the Chief Development Officer and spearheaded the construction of over 450 single-family homes for veterans in Santa Clarita, CA, providing vital housing and wraparound services to support their transition to civilian life.
Through his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment, Stan Baratta has left an indelible mark on communities worldwide, embodying the true essence of philanthropy and service.
Sheila Lambert
Managing Principal, Sage Grant Solutions, LLC
Sheila Lambert, founder and Principal of Sage Grant Solutions, LLC, is a seasoned grant strategist with over 30 years of experience in grant development, project management, and regulatory compliance. Her expertise secured over $225 million in discretionary grants for transformative nonprofit initiatives.
Sheila’s distinguished career includes leadership roles such as Nevada's Chief of Grant Management, Manager of Medicaid Managed Care Organization contracts, Project Manager for the Department of Health and Human Services, and Regional Marketing Director for an international architecture and engineering firm.
During COVID, she launched Nevada’s first statewide behavioral health crisis services, benefiting veterans, youth, and marginalized populations. Sheila also secured Nevada’s inaugural pay-for-performance social innovation grants through Third Capital and the Harvard Kennedy Innovation Program.
Her ability to channel resources into impactful projects continues to drive lasting community benefits, showcasing her unparalleled expertise in fostering meaningful change.
Patrick Pharris
President & CEO, Pharris Business Development
Patrick Pharris has served as a trusted strategic advisor to the President of Fixx Development since 2014, playing a pivotal role in the conceptualization and development of the Patriot Housing NLV project over the past decade. Throughout the project’s lifecycle, he has skillfully managed communications with key Las Vegas business leaders and government officials, ensuring alignment between the project’s goals and community priorities.
With over 35 years of experience in business development, marketing, and strategic communications, Patrick has advised leading companies, including BMW and Monster Beverage Company, and many others across multiple industries, including real estate development, alternative energy, and consumer products in domestic and international markets.
His extensive expertise includes participating in the Solomon Smith Barney roadshow team that raised $650 million to develop the Las Vegas Monorail and he secured nearly $100 million in sponsorship contracts for the public transit system.
Patrick has founded and operated seven successful marketing agencies, earning more than 30 industry awards and being recognized for his achievements in more than 200 news articles and textbooks.
In the Patriot Housing NLV project, Patrick’s experience in public-private collaboration, business strategy, and marketing will help propel the project forward from concept to completion and ongoing operations. His ability to drive business development while fostering community engagement makes him an essential figure in this transformative development.
Marcus Roberts
Capital Markets Advisor
Marcus Roberts is a seasoned investment banker and financial strategist with over 30 years of experience securing capital for large-scale real estate developments and EBITDA-positive businesses. He has a distinguished record of raising both debt and equity financing, typically in the $50 million to $500 million range, from institutional investors and private equity funds. His ability to structure complex financial transactions has made him a trusted advisor to clients in the U.S. and internationally.
Currently, Marcus serves as the CEO of IP Securitized Corp, a firm specializing in underwriting litigation finance transactions ranging from $10 million to $400 million, backed by a leading private equity firm. His role involves spearheading high-value transactions that require innovative financial solutions and deep market expertise.
Previously, Marcus was Director of Acquisition at the Seligman family office, where he managed the underwriting of real estate investments exceeding $50 million per project. He also held the role of Director of Equity at Laurus Corp, a boutique private equity firm, where he was instrumental in securing capital for commercial real estate ventures.
Todd Stratton
President & CEO, Kavison Homes
Todd Stratton, who brings more than 32 years of expertise in residential and commercial construction to Fixx Development, will work as the General Contractor for the Patriot Homes NLV project. As President and CEO of Kavison Homes, he has led the development of more than 2,000 acres and the construction of over 3,500 residential units across Nevada, Arizona, California, and Texas. His extensive experience spans every stage of real estate development, from land acquisition to project completion.
Todd founded Kavison Homes in 2016 and quickly earned recognition as "New Home Builder of the Year" by the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association.
Todd’s career highlights include serving as Division President of Sterling S Development, overseeing operations in Nevada and Texas, and leading American Premiere Homes, where he expanded the company from two subdivisions to over 40, including the 1,000-lot Sierra Ranch community.
With a proven track record of managing large-scale developments, Todd will ensure the successful execution of Patriot Homes NLV, aligning the project with Fixx Development’s vision for impactful housing solutions.
Sam Pate
Vice President, Fixx Development Corp
Sam has a background in engineering and project management as well as commercial, industrial, and residential relating to civil construction, industrial, and oil & gas–specific to regional, off-shore, and large-scale commercial projects.
Sam has extensive experience in temporary housing for remote workforce and post-disaster situations both domestically and internationally.
He graduated from the University of South Alabama, College of Civil Engineering. He holds his Florida General Contractors License (authorizing agent), Louisiana General Contractors License (heavy construction and utility endorsement), and Mold Remediation Certificate and is a licensed Louisiana Residential Contractor.
Andrew C. Dennis
Founder and Inventor of GigaCrete, Inc.
Andrew C. Dennis is the Founder and Inventor of GigaCrete, Inc., a leader in advanced "green" and abuse-resistant building materials.
With a diverse career spanning set design for the BBC, architectural design and planning at The Hudson’s Bay Company, and the creation of The Andrew C. Dennis Company Ltd., Andrew has influenced both architecture and sustainable innovation in America since 1989.
He played pivotal roles in the conceptual design of Las Vegas landmarks like the New York, New York Hotel & Casino and Sunset Station. Benj Baird
Founder and Partner, Blackbox Design Studios
Benj Baird founded Blackbox Design Studios in 2008. Since then, the firm has enjoyed the compliment of numerous repeat clientele and referrals.
Benj began his career with a strong background in multi-family projects and he also specializes in commercial and custom residential design.
His extensive knowledge of construction techniques, city planning processes, and building codes benefits every project in the office.
He excels at creative problem solving and his passion for construction detailing strongly informs his design approach. Benj is licensed in many western states and is LEED accredited.
Eric Cummings
Co-Founder and Chief Solutions Officer, Mission First Solutions, LLC
Eric Cummings is the Co-Founder and Chief Solutions Officer at Mission First Solutions, LLC, an SBA-certified 8(a), minority-owned Value-Added Reseller (VAR) company. With over 25 years of healthcare industry experience, Eric has worked across distribution, IT, and software solutions, from startups to large enterprises.
As a co-founder, Eric has built a company committed to delivering advanced technologies and services to the Federal Government and healthcare sectors.
Supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is central to Mission First Solutions’ mission. Eric focuses on advancing Military Health, readiness, and innovation within the Defense Health Agency (DHA), ensuring solutions that enhance outcomes for military personnel and veterans.
His leadership drives exceptional execution, consistently meeting contractual milestones while exceeding customer service expectations.
Dr. Eric Coffman, D.O.
Physician
Fixx Development Corp is conducting a nationwide search for an Executive Director of the Patriot Apartments Transitional Veteran Housing Detox Center.
To aid in the development and activation of this search, FIXX Development recruited Dr. Eric N. Coffman, D.O., a highly respected expert in medically supervised detoxification with more than 25 years of experience. Dr. Coffman runs Detox Expert, where he provides discrete detox services to individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering specialized care for addiction-related conditions like liver disease.
With his extensive background in addiction medicine, Dr. Coffman has built strong partnerships with rehabilitation centers and fellow medical professionals throughout the United States. He holds board certifications in Addiction Medicine from the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Based in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Coffman runs his medical practice and serves as the medical director for chemical dependency units across Michigan, including facilities such as Beaumont Hospital, Oxford Institute, Harbor Oaks Hospital, St. Mary’s, and Brighton Hospital. Furthermore, he is a consultant for the State of Michigan Department of Licensing and the Michigan Attorney General’s office, showcasing his commitment to advancing addiction treatment on a broader scale.
Kenny Lipschutz
Kenny Lipschutz was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of HomeFirst Certified Communities, a developer of manufactured home communities based in Birmingham, Michigan. HomeFirst owned nine manufactured communities with more than 4,300 home sites and approximately 15,000 residents.
In 2018, as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO), Kenny led the company’s consumer finance group, Home Courte Lending, which provides loan brokerage services to resident applicants.
Kenny also serves on Green Courte’s Board of Directors, working on several ventures within the fund. Kenny serves on the boards of Citrine MHC, a Chicago-based financial services company.
He has led several other luxury modular projects in Park City, Utah; Kirkwood, California; Durango, Vail, and Winter Park, Colorado. Kenny is the past chairman of the Urban Land Institutes’ Manufactured Housing Communities Council and now serves on its Recreational (Resort) Development Council. Kenny served as both Treasurer and President of the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association for eight years.
Arthur C. Lewis, III
Owner of A. C. Lewis Management
As the owner of A.C. Lewis Management, Arthur continues a family legacy of owning, managing, and building apartment communities since 1936.
His father, A.C. Lewis, Jr., was a prominent figure in the construction and management of numerous well-known apartment communities and hotels in the Baton Rouge area.
